42nd Yamagata Prefecture Children and Students Printmaking Exhibition

About this event

The Yamagata Prefecture Children and Students Printmaking Exhibition is an exhibition of printmaking works targeting elementary and junior high school students across the prefecture, held annually with approximately 800 submissions. This exhibition aims to honor the achievements of the late Mokurei Nakagawa, a great traditional printmaker born in Mamurogawa Town, while widely cultivating the aesthetic sensibilities of elementary and junior high school students throughout the prefecture. The submission acceptance period is from Tuesday, July 21, Reiwa 8 (2026) to Monday, August 31, strictly by the deadline. Submitted works will be accepted at the 'Yamagata Prefecture Children and Students Printmaking Exhibition Secretariat' inside the Mamurogawa Town Central Community Center.
