About this event
Held annually in Oguni Town, the "Furusato Autumn Festival" is a community-wide festival held in connection with the annual autumn grand festival of Oguni Ryo Shrine. Under the theme "The Day Oguni Becomes One," nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, and general organizations take part in the parade, bringing the entire town together in excitement. Local organizations in Oguni Town also add color to the festival with public bazaar stalls, and displays crafted from the leaves of Oguni's specialty "Oguni Cedar" enliven the festival scenery. This festival aims to revitalize the local community and pass down traditions.
