About this event

Centered around actual materials of the city-designated cultural property "Lacquered Bow (with patterns) excavated from the Momijiyama Site No. 33", this theme exhibition introduces numerous stone tools excavated along with the bow. It approaches the lifestyle of the people of Ishikari and the prayers embedded in the tools of that era during the first half of the Epi-Jomon culture approximately 2,000 years ago. Through valuable excavated artifacts, it is a precious opportunity to experience the ancient history and culture of Ishikari.
