The 61st Ishikari Salmon Festival

In Ishikari City, known as a salmon town, the 61st Ishikari Salmon Festival will be held as a grand festival to express gratitude for and engage with salmon. Visitors can enjoy various events such as the 1,000-person hot pot using salmon and vegetables from Ishikari, and horseback riding experiences with panoramic views of Ishikari Bay. Fresh salmon sales, all-you-can-stuff Ishikari carrot bagging, and sales of Ishikari hot pot and freshly harvested rice onigiri will also take place. In addition, visitors can experience riding Hokkaido's native horse, Dosanko. It will be a day to savor autumn flavors and experience Ishikari's food and culture.
