Out of KidZania in Aizu 2026

About this event

"Out of KidZania in Aizu 2026" is a vocational and social experience program for children held in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. Back for its 4th consecutive year by popular demand, it allows 1st-grade elementary school students through 3rd-grade junior high school students to step out of the town of KidZania and experience real-world jobs. This event features a total of 29 job experience options in collaboration with local companies and organizations in the Aizu area, such as "Japanese Confectioner Work: Making Awa-Manju," "Firefighter Work," and "Clinical Laboratory Technician Work." Participants can deepen their understanding of local industry and economy through these experiences and foster a love for their hometown. After the experience, children receive a salary in the special currency "Beko," which can be used for shopping at designated stores in the Aizu area. This program aims to inspire children to develop a perspective on careers, nurture human resources who will support future regional industries, and promote local employment. The event dates and times are Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00.
