Janohana Customer Appreciation Festival 2026

About this event

To express daily gratitude, the "Janohana Customer Appreciation Festival 2026" will be held for two days on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, at "Flower and History Village Janohana" in Motomiya City, Fukushima Prefecture. Admission will be free during these two days, featuring plenty of activities for both adults and children to enjoy. Attractions include the annually popular "Grand Bingo Tournament" with luxurious prizes, an imoni (taro soup) festival, a marche, food trucks, stage events, and a thrift shop. In particular, on Saturday, October 10, Motomiya City's mascot character "Mayumi-chan" will make an appearance, and Halloween treat bags are scheduled to be given out exclusively to children. In addition, there will be welcome musical performances by guitarist Takehiro Hata and vocalist Yukimi Harada, as well as a talk & live performance by singer-songwriter Fumihiro Shichimiya on Sunday, October 11. A tea ceremony will also be held at the Registered Tangible Cultural Property "Janohana Goten", where you can enjoy a bowl of matcha along with the view from the residence. For autumn culinary delights, you can enjoy two varieties of imoni on sale, as well as food trucks and a marche gathering handmade goods and gourmet food. With a cosplay event "Janocos", a cardboard maze for children, fair games, a newly harvested rice scoop challenge, and a tulip bulb grab, the event offers a full day of fun for the whole family. Please enjoy an autumn day to the fullest at Janohana as it welcomes the autumn foliage season.
