British Hills "Silver Week Event"

The "Silver Week Event" will be held from Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday (public holiday), September 23, 2026, at British Hills in Tenei Village, Fukushima Prefecture. During this season when the summer heat eases and pleasant highland breezes blow through, visitors can enjoy comfortable outdoor strolls around the manor house situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters. This Silver Week, without leaving Japan, guests can spend time in "a UK without a passport" filled with exotic atmosphere, engaging in original English-language activities and enjoying beautiful music. During the event period, a wide variety of programs will be offered, including Pumpkin Spice Scone Baking, Manor House Tours (a standard tour and an upgraded special edition), a Black Tea Diagnosis Workshop, Sherlock Holmes' Challenge, the mobile game-linked activity "Barkington Village," the booklet-based activity "May's Quest," and self-guided tours. All of these activities allow visitors to experience British culture while engaging naturally with English. In addition, traditional British dishes can be enjoyed at restaurants during the period, including the Falstaff Pub, Ascot Tea Room, and the food truck "Highland Oasis." Furthermore, a limited Silver Week accommodation plan is available, offering exclusive perks such as a seasonal dinner and gift novelties.
