Tadami Earth Genki Village 2026

Held in Tadami Town, Fukushima Prefecture, "Tadami Earth Genki Village 2026" is a two-day event that nurtures connections between people and nature, the region, and one another through play, learning, and interaction in nature-rich Tadami Town. This year's theme is "Finding the Source of Vitality," offering encounters with the "authentic" unique to Tadami, such as beech forests, water, headwaters, wildlife, and human lifestyles. Centered around the Oku-Aizu Tadamino Mori Camp Site, programs including a Tadami Lake cruise boat tour, watercolor sketching class, Tadami Beech Center study tour, and rice sake brewery tour are provided. Additionally, a symposium on the theme of "A Future Living with Nature" and a live music performance by Takako Shirai will be held. Guests include motorcycle adventurer Shinji Kazama, singer-songwriter Takako Shirai, and global environmental and lifestyle researcher Hideki Ishida. The event offers an opportunity to consider a future rich life in the land of Tadami, where wisdom and culture of people living in mutual support with nature thrive. Same-day participation is 1,000 yen, and camping overnight participation is 2,000 yen (junior high school students and older; free for elementary school students and younger), while participation is free for Tadami Town residents.
