About this event
Held in Tadami Town, Fukushima Prefecture, the 'Mizu no Sato Umaimon Festival' is a gourmet event gathering proud 'delicious eats' from Tadami Town and neighboring municipalities. You can enjoy the rich natural scenery of Tadami Town while tasting local traditional dishes and specialties from each region. At the venue, in addition to food sales, there are stage events, exhibitions of working vehicles, and interactive activity corners, offering a rich program for both adults and children to enjoy. In addition, the highly popular Tagokura Dam tour will be held. This year, in commemoration of next summer's opening of National Route 289, an Ika (kite) battle experience from neighboring Sanjo City will also take place. Furthermore, a talk show by TV personalities Atsushi Seki and Mishin Suzuki will be held to further enliven the event.
