About this event
Held in Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture, "Kaze to Lock Imonikai in September JAM" is a music and arts festival forming part of "September JAM," a comprehensive arts event marking the milestones of 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and the 150th anniversary of Fukushima Prefectural administration. The camp-in event "Ohara☆Break" set on the shores of Lake Inawashiro teams up with "Kaze to Lock Imonikai," which has been held across Fukushima Prefecture since 2010, taking place in Inawashiro in September, the same month as the 2011 rock festival "LIVE Fukushima." The venue, Inawashiro Ski Resort Minero, also served as the finish line for past "Kaze to Lock LIVE Fukushima CARAVAN Nippon" events. Likening the audience to "ingredients," the musicians to "miso," and the venue to a "large pot," it is a one-of-a-kind village-festival-like event where various perspectives and feelings are simmered together into a delicious imoni stew. While honoring each other's 15-year recovery journey, the event calls for everyone to gather with excitement in their hearts, along with the unchanging message for this special year: "There is not even a millimeter of distance between our hearts."
