Hokkaido Fukushima Town FOOD STADIUM is an event spotlighting the rich food culture of Fukushima Town. In addition to local soul foods such as Sengen soba and ika-tonbi (squid beak) pasta, visitors can enjoy exquisite local delicacies such as marinated tuna rice bowls and salt-grilled wild char. Furthermore, deep-fried horse mackerel (aji-fry) will be offered from the friendship city of Matsuura in Nagasaki Prefecture, and Japanese sake from Kiso Town in Nagano Prefecture (known as a town of sake brewing), bringing together delicious foods from across the nation under one roof. Starting in 2022, the former "Sengen Soba Shin-Soba Festival" and the "Country Festival" were merged, reborn as this grand culinary festival. At the venue, local specialty sales and food trucks will also set up shop to delight visiting crowds.
