As Part 2 of the "Flower Autumn Fest 2026" held in Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, the "Harvest Festival to Savor Autumn in Yasato" will be held. This 2-day event promotes the appeal of autumn flowers, fruits, and agricultural produce that local Ibaraki, Ishioka, and Yasato take pride in, allowing visitors to fully enjoy seasonal flavors and regional charm. At the agricultural produce market featuring popular local shops from Ishioka and Yasato, an abundance of autumn delicacies will be available, including lotus root, chestnuts, corn, pears, persimmons, and grapes. In addition, at the "All-You-Can-Stuff Vegetables" activity, you can pack a bag full of fresh autumn vegetables harvested in Yasato to take home, starting from 300 yen. At the "Vegetable Stamp Art Making" workshop, you can experience making original postcards using vegetable scraps as stamps, stamping on mini drawstring bags, and completing large artwork. Furthermore, "Halloween Pumpkin Painting," where you can freely paint on a real pumpkin, can also be enjoyed for free. The "Flower and Forest Concert," featuring a lively brass band concert by Otonowa Winds, will also be held, colorfully adorning the autumn satoyama. Inside the park, you can also savor autumn flavors unique to this season, such as Yasato new-crop rice salted rice balls, Yasato bounty pork miso soup (tonjiru), Shine Muscat parfaits, soft-serve ice cream, and roasted chestnuts and okowa from Chocolon Farm. It is an event where you can fully enjoy flowers, nature, autumn delicacies, and activities while feeling the gentle autumn breeze.
