National Children's Ceramic Art Exhibition in Kasama

Nurturing the rich sensibilities of children who will lead the 21st century, the "National Children's Ceramic Art Exhibition in Kasama" provides a venue for them to demonstrate their ingenuity and free creativity through ceramic art. In this exhibition, masterworks submitted by elementary and junior high school students from across the country gather under one roof. In addition to displaying works that have won numerous awards, including the top Prime Minister's Award, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, and the Governor of Ibaraki Prefecture Award, all submitted works will be exhibited, allowing visitors to experience the diverse ideas and techniques of children. The awards ceremony will be held at Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum on Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, and the exhibition will be held at the same museum from that day until Sunday, August 30, 2026. Opening hours are from 9:30 to 17:00 (last admission at 16:30). The museum is closed on Mondays, but it will be open on Monday, July 20, and closed the following day.
