A dream collaboration between two of Japan's top "New Generation Jazz" leaders! "Shun Ishiwaka Trio Tour 2026+27," marking their first hall tour, will be held in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Figures symbolizing the new-generation jazz scene will assemble to deliver a special one-night-only performance. The lineup features Shun Ishiwaka on drums, Yusei Takahashi on piano/keyboard, and Marty Holoubek on bass. In addition, Tomoaki Baba on tenor saxophone will join as a guest. This tour is held as part of a hall tour visiting six cities nationwide in conjunction with the release of the new album "Mabui" under the name Shun Ishiwaka Trio +1. The album "Mabui" is composed of original pieces by Shun Ishiwaka and bears a title meaning "soul" in the Okinawan dialect. This tour will be a precious opportunity to experience the world of the album live. Enjoy the passionate performance by artists active at the forefront of jazz at Toride Civic Hall.
