42.195km Relay Marathon 33rd Hitachi Seaside Park Tournament

About this event

This is a relay marathon tournament where anyone who can run 2 km can participate and enjoy a wondrous full marathon experience. Set on the Great Grass Area of Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, teams pass the sash (tasuki) and run the full 42.195 km. Various divisions are available so a wide range of people can participate, including General, Mixed (2 or more women), Women, Workplace, Family, Elementary School Students, Junior High School Students, High School Students, and Strong (groups of 2 to 3 runners). The time limit is 4 hours, and teams consist of 4 to 10 runners (2 to 3 runners for the Strong division). Towels are provided as participation prizes, and the top 3 teams in the overall and each division category will receive awards. On the day of the event, registration will be held at the Great Grass Area of Hitachi Seaside Park, followed by the opening ceremony before the start. A first-aid tent staffed by nurses will also be set up, ensuring a safe system for participation.
