48th Suigo Itako Fireworks Festival

Under the theme "The Night When a Small Town Shines the Brightest," the 48th Suigo Itako Fireworks Festival will be held. This fiscal year's event has been decided to take place on Saturday, October 31 at the Kitatone River Special Venue (Suigo Hokusai Park). Visitors can enjoy powerful fireworks up close, including underwater starmine fireworks launched from the waterside unique to Suigo Itako. From the venue at Suigo Hokusai Park, you can view fireworks launched from the water right before your eyes. Paid grandstand seats are also on sale, allowing guests to fully enjoy the fireworks in a better viewing environment. Fireworks launching is scheduled to begin at 18:30. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to Sunday, November 1; however, if it cannot be held on either day, the event will be cancelled. Fireworks launched over the waters of Suigo, the symbol of Itako City, will serve as an opportunity to bring energy and vitality to Itako City.
