The "2026 Namegata Autumn Festival," commemorating the opening of the Higashi-Kanto Expressway Mito Line between Namegata IC and Hokota IC, is an autumn festival packed with Namegata's charms held at Kasumigaura Fureai Land in Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Under the theme of "watch, eat, and play," about 70 booths including food and beverage stalls and miscellaneous goods shops will be featured, along with impersonation stage shows and performances by special guests. In addition, unique to Namegata City—one of Japan's leading sweet potato production areas—the "Namegata Roasted Sweet Potato Market" will be held concurrently, bringing together roasted sweet potato shops. It is an event where you can fully enjoy the autumn of Namegata with family and friends.
