About this event
The '2026 Ibaraki Festival' is the largest event in the town, held in Ibaraki Town, Ibaraki Prefecture. Various sectors of agriculture, commerce, and industry gather in one place, featuring merchandise sales, local gourmet food, interactive activities, and promotional booths. Elaborately planned stage shows are also held, making it a lively and bustling event. The finale fireworks that conclude the festival are truly spectacular. This year, it will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8), from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (cancelled in case of stormy weather). The venue will be the parking lot and lawn plaza in front of the Ibaraki Town General Welfare Center 'Yuyu-kan', as well as the lawn plaza beside the Ibaraki Town Office. Vendor applications are also being accepted: from Wednesday, August 12 to Monday, August 31, 2026 for businesses in the town and members of the Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and from Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, September 11, 2026 for businesses outside the town (non-members of the Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry). Booth fees apply.
