Local Children's Class: Parent-Child Cooking Class

Held at the Yachiyo Town Central Community Center, the "Local Children's Class: Parent-Child Cooking Class" is a food education event for 1st to 3rd grade elementary school students and their guardians. Featuring guest instructor Atsuko Nakajima (Yachiyo Town Dietary Life Improvement Promotion Council), parents and children can enjoy cooking together. The event will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The participation fee is 300 yen per person. Required items to bring include a towel, water bottle, indoor shoes, dishcloth, apron, mask, and bandana (triangular scarf). Guardians are requested to accompany their children to the reception desk for check-in. This class will provide a valuable opportunity for parents and children to experience the importance of food and the joy of cooking together.
