The 22nd Sakura City Marathon held in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, is an ideal event as a training race before the full-fledged marathon season. On the 10km course, runners can take on a steep hill with a maximum gradient of 8%, making it recommended for those aiming to beat their personal records. You can experience an exhilarating run while enjoying the beautiful scenery along Sakura Road. Another highlight is being able to refresh both body and mind after the race in one of Japan's Top Three Beautiful Skin Hot Springs. A variety of categories are available, designed for a wide range of age groups and participants, including a 1.5km parent-child pair and a 1km wheelchair category. Guest runners include athletes from AMI AC SHARKS and running-comedy YouTuber Tamujo, who will further enliven the event. Participants will receive hot spring vouchers, commemorative race gifts, handmade miso, seasonal fruits, and can also receive free taping and massage services.
