The "22nd Nasukarasuyama Marathon," held in Nasukarasuyama City, starts and finishes at the Nasukarasuyama City Health and Welfare Center, featuring an open, refreshing course where runners can fully enjoy rich nature. The half marathon course loops around the city, offering a rewarding run alongside changing scenery of rural satoyama landscapes and clear streams. The event accommodates a wide range of age groups, including a 5 km course suitable for beginners to experienced runners, a flat and safe 2 km course (women and elementary school students), and a 1.4 km family pair course open to preschoolers or 1st-2nd grade elementary school students with their families. There is no on-the-day check-in; athlete bibs (with timing chips) will be mailed in advance. The top 6 finishers in each event and category will receive awards, and online finish certificates will be issued. Participant gifts such as towels, local specialties, and warm cheers along the course are also part of the tournament's highlights. Access from the JR Karasuyama Line is convenient, and the venue is compactly organized. In case of cancellation due to severe weather or natural disasters, participation fees will not be refunded, but participation gifts will be sent.
