Held in Shioya Town, Tochigi Prefecture, the 'Exciting Shioya Walking Competition in Omiya' is a walking event held at Shioya Town General Park. Three courses of 20 km, 12.5 km, and 5.5 km are prepared, allowing participants to choose a course according to their fitness level. The opening ceremony begins at 8:45 AM, and starts for each course proceed sequentially from 9:00 AM. The event will take place rain or shine. The application period runs from September 14 to October 30, 2026 (Reiwa 8), and applications can be made online or at the counter. Online application requires registration with 'WALKENTRY'. Payment of the participation fee must also be made promptly after applying.
