About this event
The "21st Nasu Kyubi Festival" will be held, themed around the legend of the white-faced, golden-furred nine-tailed fox handed down in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture. Performances of the Hakumen Konmo Kyubiko Taiko (nine-tailed fox drums) and a mikoshi (portable shrine) modeled after the nine-tailed fox will appear to liven up the venue. Many festival stalls and food trucks will also open, allowing visitors to enjoy local gourmet cuisine and specialty products. It is Nasu Town's largest event, packed with activities related to the nine-tailed fox, aimed at rediscovering local resources, regional revitalization, and tourism promotion.
