About this event
The Minowa Castle Festival is a representative event of the Misato area, centering on the 'Minowa Castle Ruins', which is a nationally designated historic site and one of Japan's Top 100 Castles. Organized primarily by local residents, its purpose is to convey the history and culture of the region to many citizens. At the event, thrilling attractions such as a warrior procession in handmade armor and the Siege of Minowa Castle are staged. In addition, the lively 'Minowa Castle Market' will be held at the venue, selling local agricultural produce, yakisoba, yakimanju, Minowa Castle merchandise, and more. This festival offers a valuable opportunity to deepen interactions with local people while feeling the historical romance of the Sengoku (Warring States) period.
