About this event
Based on the concept of "Passing the traditional baton to children and the future!", this festival is held with activities that can be enjoyed by all generations, including small children. Originating from the "Physical Fitness Folk Song Competition" centered around Yagibushi in 1968, the Yabuzuka Festival is held to foster local interaction, emotional connection among residents, and the transmission of local culture. On the day, a wide range of programs is planned, including Ohara Festival music, children's portable shrines from various districts, Yagibushi, Yabuzuka Kouta, hula and ukulele performances, live bands, rap, accordion, Japanese taiko drums, and a children's festival fair.
