About this event
A two-day event where art and craft artisans gather in Kita-Karuizawa, enveloped in refreshing highland air. About 70 groups of artisans are scheduled to exhibit, filling the venue with creations made from various materials such as woodwork, ceramics, fabric, glass, metal, and leather. Different from mass-produced items, visitors can look forward to encountering captivating works imbued with the creators' passion, including tableware, bags, accessories, and interior decor items. The venue is 'Asama Highland Park,' surrounded by the nature of Kita-Karuizawa. Tents will be lined up in an open venue surrounded by trees, allowing visitors to view and browse works while feeling the highland breeze. Looking at crafts, searching for favorites, and occasionally savoring delicious food makes for a relaxing autumn day out, typical of nature-rich Kita-Karuizawa. Another attraction is having direct conversations with the creators, deepening one's appreciation of the works by hearing stories behind them firsthand. Food trucks and food booths are also planned to open, allowing visitors to enjoy both art and gastronomy.
