About this event
Held in the Small Hall of the Tamamura Town Cultural Center, the Tamamura Town Picture Book Original Artwork Exhibition "That Story You Heard Somewhere: Japanese Old Tales, Sumatran Folklore, Aesop's Fables" gathers works that parents, children, and people across generations can enjoy and discuss together under the theme "Stories of the World, Stories of Japan." You can enjoy elaborately crafted original illustrations and stories full of discovery. During the exhibition period, various workshops will also be held, including kamishibai (paper play) demonstrations & lectures by an instructor from Doshinsha, as well as a lecture by the representative of Piyopiyo no Kai on choosing picture books and children's books for ages 4 through elementary school students. Admission is free.
