NHK Nodojiman: Toda City 60th Municipal Anniversary Commemoration

Toda City in Saitama Prefecture is hosting "NHK Nodojiman" in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the enforcement of its municipal organization. Under the theme "Your Town, Everyone's Stage," this program is a community-oriented public recording event that brings the singing voices of local residents to the whole nation. The preliminary contest will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, and the main competition will take place the following day, Sunday, September 20, in the Main Hall of Toda City Cultural Hall. In the main competition, around 20 amateur acts that passed the preliminary round will perform passionately, welcoming Goro Noguchi and MAX as special guests. Announcer Ai Tsukahara will serve as the host. The broadcast will be aired live on NHK General TV, NHK AM, NHK FM, and NHK World-Japan (international broadcast), with simultaneous streaming and catch-up streaming available on NHK Plus. In this memorable event, the singing voices of local residents will resound across the nation.
