About this event

A unique matchmaking (konkatsu) event themed around crane games, "Kure-Kon: When the Crane Moves, Love Moves," will be held in Okegawa City, Saitama Prefecture. This event is organized by the Regional Revitalization Committee of the Okegawa City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth League, with Toyo Co., Ltd., operator of crane game specialty store Everyday, providing the venue and content support. Aiming to address social issues such as the rising rate of unmarried individuals and late marriages, the event seeks to foster natural interaction while having fun through crane games. It is packed with ideas to relieve the tension often felt at traditional matchmaking events and bring out smiles through cooperative activities. During the event, participants will have opportunities to try "Okegawa Catcher," featuring specialty products of Okegawa City as prizes, and the "Bicycle-Powered Crane Game" exclusively for matched couples. As participants immerse themselves in the crane games, they can experience new encounters in an environment where conversations and high-fives naturally occur. On the day, after registration, the program begins with talk time featuring the original character "Wear-kun," followed by cooperative bingo missions in pairs, and progresses to challenges on the special "Bicycle-Powered Crane Game." With prizes filled with local charm prepared, the event is sure to stay exciting right through to the finale.
