Yashio Fireworks Festival 2026

Held in Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture, the 'Yashio Fireworks Festival 2026' is a fireworks event born from local residents' desire to 'make Yashio a more exciting town.' Marking its 4th edition, this festival aims to illuminate the community and the future. On the day of the event, 1,840 fireworks (a wordplay on 'I-I Yashio') will light up the night sky of Yashio, bringing smiles and excitement to visitors. In addition to fireworks, visitors can enjoy hands-on events, stage performances, and food from food trucks, spending a special time all day long from daytime into the night. Last year, more than approximately 30,000 people attended, drawing attention as an event that fosters a sense of local unity. Please note that the lantern display originally planned has been cancelled in consideration of the helium gas supply situation. As an alternative, colorful paper lanterns and Hanamomo cider will be provided. Event details can be found on the official website and ticket sales sites.
