About this event
The Fujimi City International Exchange Forum 2026 "Door to the World" is an event aimed at deepening understanding of diverse cultures and creating a multicultural coexisting community where people live richly together. It will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fujimi Municipal Fujimino Exchange Center. It is an exchange event where people of all ages, from children to adults, can experience cultures from around the world. On stage, following the opening ceremony, "Wai-Wai World Talk" will feature cross-cultural exchange on the theme of trains with foreign residents, along with a choir performance by the Fujimi City Youth Chorus and intriguing talks about national flags. In the experience corner, visitors can taste teas from around the world, receive Serbian sweets, try on police uniforms, ride a mini police motorcycle, and try on traditional ethnic costumes and kimonos. In addition, there will be exhibitions of international exchange group activities, sales of Serbian products, awareness programs for Plain Japanese (Yasashii Nihongo), displays of global miscellaneous goods, instruments, and toys, and an introduction to the sister city Sabac. Those who participate in the stamp rally around the booths and complete the questionnaire will receive global sweets (financiers) as a gift (while supplies last). The general reception is at the 1st floor Exchange Corner, and the stamp rally and questionnaire collection point is at the 3rd floor exchange window. Please note that the venue is different from usual years.
