The 23rd Sakado City Arts and Culture Festival, held in Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture, is a comprehensive cultural festival aimed at promoting artistic thinking among citizens and stimulating their desire to participate and create. Exhibitions featuring a wide variety of genres including paintings, calligraphy, photography, and crafts will be held, along with a quiz rally exploring the exhibition areas. Quiz rally participants will receive a clear file featuring Sakado City's mascot character "Sakaron" (first 100 participants each day). In addition to the exhibitions of paintings, calligraphy, photography, and crafts, visitors can enjoy stage performances such as brass bands, guitar performances, dance, choral singing, and taiko drumming. Furthermore, cultural experience workshops will be offered, including tea ceremony, calligraphy experiences, glass art making, Buddha statue making, and cardboard craft experiences, providing opportunities to experience diverse arts and cultures. Associated events outside the main period, such as a song and dance showcase and a Christmas concert, are also planned. Admission is free, but participation in the tea ceremony requires the purchase of a tea ticket.
