About this event
The "Mazekoze Sports Day," held in Fujimino City, Saitama Prefecture, is an event where everyone can enjoy sports and play, regardless of disabilities or nationality. Centered around active play booths such as "running" and "throwing" where children can move enthusiastically, participants form teams and take on challenges cooperatively with the support of staff. The program is characterized by its emphasis on communication and the rewarding experience of "I did it!" rather than competition. Guest instructors include junior sports instructor and parasports coach Yosuke Kudo, as well as archery athlete Nako Hirasawa, who competed in the Athens and Rio de Janeiro Paralympics. Students from the Faculty of Sports Management at Shobi Gakuen University will also assist. The event is open to individuals aged 6 to 18, with a capacity of 60 participants (first-come, first-served basis) and a participation fee of 100 yen. Applications start on Monday, October 5 at 10:00 AM via a web form.
