4th Minano Tenku Ultra Marathon

Held in Minano Town, Saitama Prefecture, the "4th Minano Tenku Ultra Marathon" is an ultramarathon event whose appeal, as its name suggests, is the spectacular view overlooking the area from the finish point. You can challenge a rewarding course while enjoying the mountains and cityscapes spreading before your eyes. Delicious local aid station refreshments are also prepared to relieve runners' fatigue. The event features three categories: 75 km, 35 km, and 40 km, each with an established time limit. Eligibility requires participants to be 18 years of age or older on the day of the race, to have no health issues, and to have the running capability to finish within the time limit without getting lost on the course. Student discounts are also available, encouraging participation by young runners. Both pre-race day check-in and same-day check-in are provided, allowing participants to choose according to their convenience. With the Minano Town Hall as the start and finish point, access is convenient at about an 8-minute walk from Minano Station on the Chichibu Railway. It is also about 28 km from the Hanazono Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Parking is available, but because the number of spaces is limited, an application must be made at the time of entry.
