About this event
The 14th final tournament of the "Kome-1 Grand Prix in Rankoshi," a nationwide rice competition to decide Japan's best tasting rice, will be held. Prized rice grown with great care by farmers and agricultural groups from all over Japan gathers to compete for the title of Japan's best. At the venue, in addition to observing the judging process, you can enjoy comparing new rice varieties and tasting rice balls made with delicious rice (offered for free in limited quantities). With each grain's gloss, sweetness, and stickiness, you might make new discoveries every year you visit. Please come witness this year's top rice in Japan.
