In the special exhibition "Chiba Clan Returns: 900 Years of the Clan Gathering in Chiba," commemorating the 900th anniversary of the founding of Chiba, valuable historical materials held by municipalities participating in the Chiba Clan Summit will make their "homecoming (return)" to the Chiba City Museum of History to coincide with the summit in August. Through these materials, visitors can learn about the rise and fall of the Chiba clan and explore traditions that endure to this day. This exhibition introduces how the Chiba clan expanded beyond Chiba City across the nation, achieved diverse developments in various regions, and left a tremendous impact. Highlights include the history of the Chiba clan told through precious materials gathered from various regions and its enduring influence connecting to modern times.
