"The 10th Halloween Town in Choshi" is a Halloween event set across the entire city of Choshi, held from October 12 (Mon/Holiday) to October 25 (Sun), 2026. Parents and children dress up in costume to tour the town, aiming to make it the most exciting Halloween city in Japan. The event revolves around the kickoff event "Costume Parade with Riko-chan" on October 12 (Mon/Holiday) and the "Halloween Party" on October 25 (Sun). The parade will take place at Choshi Station Plaza in the morning and at Aeon Choshi Taiyo no Hiroba in the afternoon, where visitors can also enjoy a mini live performance. The Halloween Party will be held at Aeon Choshi Iruka no Hiroba, featuring various activities throughout the day including live music, a commemorative ceremony, a costume contest, a special live show, and a grand stamp rally lottery. In particular, the stamp rally runs from October 12 to 25, where collecting stamps by visiting 80 participating shops across Choshi City earns lottery tickets and certificates of commendation. The costume contest features an Individual Division and a Family/Group Division, with luxurious prizes prepared. This event is organized by the Choshi Genki-juku and Halloween Choshi Executive Committee, and supported by Choshi City, the Choshi City Tourism Association, and others.
