Set against the backdrop of Noda City's rich nature and river spaces, the "Noda Outdoor Sports Festa 2026" offers experiences in cycling, canoeing, and sky sports. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor sports for free, including experience flights in gliders and light aircraft, hot air balloon rides, canoe trials, and the cycling event "Sekiyado Chari-Roge 2026." The application deadline for programs requiring advance registration is September 17. On the day, walk-in activities without prior registration and food trucks are scheduled, and the "Sora Matsuri 2026" (Sky Festival 2026) organized by the Noda Sky Sports Promotion Association will be held concurrently. In particular, the glider and light aircraft experience flights are limited to Noda residents, offering a free flight of about 10 minutes. The hot air balloon ride experience allows passengers to take in a 360-degree view from about 20 meters in the air, with views of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Skytree possible depending on the weather. The canoe trial accessible on the day and "Sora Matsuri 2026" will feature various aircraft displays, demo flights, and paper airplane workshops, ensuring an enjoyable experience even for those not participating in the lottery-based programs.
