Japanese name:第27回 成田山公園紅葉まつり
📅 Sat, Nov 14, 2026 - Sun, Nov 29, 2026
About this event
Naritasan Park is a vast 165,000-square-meter park extending behind the Great Main Hall of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple. During the autumn foliage season, approximately 250 trees, including Japanese maples and ginkgoes, produce charming colors, attracting many tourists every year. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays during the festival period, tea ceremonies by local tea schools and musical performances featuring traditional instruments such as the koto, shakuhachi, erhu, and Tsugaru shamisen are held. In addition, calligraphy workshops are conducted at the Calligraphy Museum within the park during specific periods, with free museum admission on those two days. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities while admiring the beautiful autumn scenery in the park.
