Yakitori JAPAN Festival 2026 in Muroran

This is one of the region's largest food festivals, where yakitori shops from across the country gather in Muroran for the first time in Hokkaido. Here, you can enjoy a diverse selection of yakitori that can only be tasted at this event. On the day, approximately 18 yakitori shops from across Japan will set up stalls, alongside around 15 local restaurants and establishments. Expecting about 60,000 visitors, a vibrant event will unfold at the Muroran Port Ferry Wharf Special Venue. It is a rare opportunity to taste and compare Japan's unique regional yakitori styles alongside Muroran's specialty "Muroran Yakitori," made with pork and onions. In addition to food and drinks, stage events, musical performances, and acts by local organizations are planned, offering content that a wide audience, from families to tourists, can enjoy.
