Kashiwa Festival 2026

About this event

Kashiwa Matsuri is one of the region's largest festivals, visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Centered around Kashiwa Station, various events that the entire town can enjoy are held over 2 days, including stage events, Kashiwa Odori dance, portable shrines (mikoshi), and street food stalls. In recent years, due to continuing extreme heat, the event period was moved to late September to ensure the safety of participants. In 2026, it will be held on September 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun). The executive committee also plans to consider programs unique to autumn events.
