Futtsu Citizens' Cultural Festival 2026

About this event

This is a citizen-crafted cultural festival aimed at encouraging citizens to familiarize themselves with and promote arts and cultural activities, where citizens and various organizations gather to present the results of their daily activities, foster mutual friendship and harmony, and contribute to the enhancement of local culture. Futtsu Citizens' Cultural Festival 2026 will be held from October 23 (Friday) to 25 (Sunday). In particular, the "Children's Festival" is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 25, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Futtsu Community Center and Land Reclamation Memorial Hall. For this Children's Festival, flea market stallholders are being recruited, with an application deadline of August 30 (Sunday). In addition, "poster illustrations," "main themes," and day-of participants are also being recruited to liven up the cultural festival. Details such as the program will be posted as soon as decided. Please note that with the hosting of the Children's Festival, the parking lot of Futtsu Community Center will serve as the booth area, so visitor parking will be at Futtsu City General Gymnasium. This event will in principle be held rain or shine, but may be canceled in stormy weather. In rainy weather, the "Nandemo Yarina" and "Wind Orchestra Festival" will in principle be held inside the hall, while other stalls will operate at the discretion of each vendor.
