Yotsukaido City Shakyo Festival 2026

About this event

The "Shakyo Festival," where everyone from children to adults can experience local welfare activities, will be held at the Yotsukaido City Comprehensive Welfare Center. Inside the facility, the 1st floor Children's Center will feature a crafts and mini-games corner; the 2nd floor will host a Fun Plaza, the Lively Works Exhibition, and Go and Shogi tournaments. On the 3rd floor, introductions and presentations of volunteer activities will take place, alongside exhibitions of works created by elementary and junior high schools, welfare facilities, and other organizations in the city. In the parking lot, the "Fukushi Marche" (Welfare Market) will be held in the morning. Stalls offering handmade goods, vegetables, confectionery, and workshops by welfare organizations are scheduled. A food drive to donate food will also be held, accepting non-perishable foods with an expiration date of one month or longer. It will be a day to tour each floor of the Comprehensive Welfare Center and connect with local community activities.
