About this event
Held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 by Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture, "INZAI Town Fest" is a renewed local event following the "Insai Summer Fest," which drew approximately 15,000 visitors. Bringing excitement to the Kioroshi area, the festival gathers interactive contents themed around the "Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa" eras, around 50 stalls and kitchen cars (food trucks), stage events, sports experiences, and programs for children. In particular, exhibitions and interactive projects reflecting each era will create a space where nostalgia and novelty meet. Fireworks are also scheduled to be launched for the finale. At the "Takebukuro Inari Shrine Annual Grand Festival" held on the same day, traditional events passed down for approximately 280 years—such as mikoshi processions, float pulling, and ohayashi performances—will take place at Takebukuro Inari Shrine and around the Kioroshi district. Originating as a thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest, this annual grand festival has developed around the "Ohama Kudari" ritual and attracts attention as a traditional event that graces the town of Kioroshi. On the day of INZAI Town Fest, combined with this annual grand festival, the Kioroshi area will be filled with autumn bustle.
