Held in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, the '22nd Yodaura Cosmos Festival' is an event where you can enjoy the stunning view of approximately 3 million cosmos flowers blooming across a vast 3-hectare site, covering the area like a pink carpet. The sea of cosmos swaying in the autumn breeze fascinates visitors. You can also experience free cosmos flower picking and take home a souvenir. Additionally, it is popular as a photo spot where you can photograph trains running on the elevated bridge alongside the cosmos. During the event period, local specialties such as freshly picked morning figs, vegetables, and new-crop Koshihikari rice are sold, and various entertainment events are held on weekends. It is an event that lets you feel the arrival of autumn while fully enjoying rich nature and local blessings.
