From Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 4, 2026, the "Autumn 2026 Shiribeshi Yume Fair in Kimobetsu" will be held at Yume Square in Kimobetsu Town. At this fair, the rich autumn delicacies of the Shiribeshi region will gather, offering grilled offal (horumon) from Tsuji Livestock in Rusutsu Village, cod roe (tarako) and seafood from Kaneto Fishery in Furubira Town, rice-flour taiyaki from Honma Confectionery in Kyowa Town, and more. Organizations from Kimobetsu Town will also open stalls serving warm dishes such as soba, udon, and mushroom soup. In addition, a food truck festival will be held simultaneously this year, bringing together numerous food trucks from inside and outside the town. As an attraction, a limited-quantity "all-you-can-stuff potato packing" (Jagaimo Tsumetsume) event will also be held. It is an event to fully enjoy the autumn tastes of Shiribeshi over the weekend.
