About this event
"Oamishirasato Fireworks for Reconstruction Prayer" will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2026. This fireworks festival is held with thoughts for disaster victims and wishes for the recovery of Oamishirasato City. Set against Shirasato Beach, approximately 2,000 fireworks will be launched, lighting up the night sky. Highlights include underwater starmine fireworks blossoming across the sea surface along with the open feeling unique to the seaside. On the day, food stalls, kitchen cars (food trucks), and tent vendors will be present, allowing visitors to enjoy festival gourmet foods while waiting for the fireworks. In addition, stage events, a 3x3 basketball game, and dance performances will be held, offering entertainment throughout the day. Extra bus services operated by Kominato Railway are also scheduled to run to the venue.
