Japanese name:京極町ふきだし公園の紅葉
📅 Sat, Oct 10, 2026 - Sat, Oct 31, 2026
About this event
Autumn foliage can be enjoyed at Fukidashi Park located in Kyogoku Town, Abuta District, Hokkaido. Beloved as a home of famous waters that was once selected among the former Environment Agency's 100 Exquisite Waters of Japan, the park features walking trails developed around the spring water pond where meltwater from Mt. Yotei ceaselessly gushes forth, allowing visitors to admire the autumn colors from various angles while strolling through the park. Typically, beech, painted maple, Japanese maple, and other trees begin to change color in early October, reaching peak foliage viewing from mid to late October. The yellow and orange foliage delights the eyes of visitors, and the vivid contrast of the autumn leaves reflected in the spring water and ponds against the backdrop of Mt. Yotei creates a picturesque autumn landscape unique to Hokkaido.
