The annual autumn event, Yokoshibahikari Sports Festa 2026, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The venue is the Fureai Sakatanoike Park Athletics Stadium. On the day of the event, numerous events are prepared for children to adults, as well as parents and children to enjoy together. Individual events include an obstacle race for elementary and junior high school students (Yokoshibahikari Adventure Race), featuring activities such as running while carrying a ball on a ladle, spinning around a bat, and a candy-eating race. The parent-child cooperative race for preschoolers and their parents (Parent-Child Quest Run) includes newspaper punch, crawling under nets, and squeezing a ball. Group competitions will include an elementary school relay (teams of 8), a group tug-of-war (teams of 6, with female participation requirements), and a group relay (teams of 6). Applications must be submitted by Friday, September 18, and submission via fax is also accepted.
