Make Your own YUKI-ITA / GRAVITY NISEKO

About this event

A special two-day workshop where you can craft your own original Yuki-ita from scratch will be held at THE NORTH FACE GRAVITY NISEKO. The instructor will be Toru Kawaguchi, a THE NORTH FACE athlete who is also active as a freeskiier and ski shaper. Participants will perform the entire process from drawing the outline to cutting, polishing, and finishing with their own hands to create a one-of-a-kind Yuki-ita. Yuki-ita is a simple winter gear that lets you freely glide across natural terrain without bindings; crafting it by hand deepens your attachment to the gear and serves as the first step toward the special experience of riding winter Niseko on a Yuki-ita you made yourself. This event is ideal for those who enjoy craftsmanship and snow sports, as well as those who want to experience Hokkaido's snowy mountains more closely in winter.
